In other Storm games, Orochimaru has one of the lamest Ultimates, all he does is turn into a giant snake and slam down on you, in Storm 1 he makes a massive snake tsunami that turns into a hurricane of snakes and then he pierces you with the Kusanagi sword. In Storm 1, she runs at you and punches you in the stomach sending you flying, then jumps high into the air and slams down with a heaven kick of pain. In other Storm games Tsunade has Paradise Pure Land, where all she does is punch the ground and then punch you in the stomach, blasting you into the air. Not to mention they changed many characters ultimates to inferior versions in Ninja Storm 2.įor example all of the Sanin, Kimmimaru and more have better and cooler ultimates in Storm 1.
Why was this taken out? They could literally have just used the same two ultimates, it makes no sense. However, in Storm 1, if you pick Kid Sasuke with his blue outfit, his Chidori is purple and the Curse Mark crawls across his face, so his ultimate changes slightly depending on the costume. For example, in every other Storm game if you pick kid Sasuke, he has the normal Blue chidori as his ultimate and he opens his sharingan. Speaking of ultimates, another thing Storm 1 has that the others don’t, is better ultimates for the Part 1 character, combos as well. To add even more if you win with your character awakened they revert back to normal on the Win screen.Īwakened ultimates are so awesome in Storm 1 and some of my favorite ultimates in the entire franchise in my opinion. in every other Storm game I have to let the AI beat my ass for two minutes, then awaken which means I only get to play as said character for about 2 minutes, not only that but they don’t have their own ultimates eaither. This is a HUGE deal for me, some of my favorite characters are Curse Mark Kimmimaru and Sasuke, One Tailed Naruto and etc. What could Storm 1 have that all of the others don’t you ask? Well, for starters you can pick awakened/transformed characters on the character roster and play with them the entire match, not only that but they have their own ultimates. I have very little problems with them, however, the biggest problem I have comes from every game except Ultimate Ninja Storm 1.
